These cord ends are the same as the ones used on my phone straps.

So if you want to make your own, maybe you want different lengths or to use your own cord these are what you need.

You thread both ends of the cord through the top, then knot the cord and trim off excess. Pull the knot up into the cord end (this hides the knot) and you have your cord loop at the top, the silver coloured cord end at the bottom - which has a hole either side to put a jumpring through.
